Watching the World Burn: Vicarious Grief & the Polycrisis

Does it feel like images of war, famine, political violence, natural disasters, and senseless destruction are relentless? Do you feel it in your bones and deep in your soul? Do you just want a break from the onslaught of the news?

In this workshop we will discuss vicarious grief and its effects on our well-being, and then together we will create a list of resources and techniques that may help our nervous system return to a balanced state, preventing the vicarious grief from taking hold.

By working together, participants will create community and a sense of belonging, while counteracting the effects of traumatic images and videos.

I’m offering this on two dates to make space for more people, but the content and process will be the same.

The Zoom link will be sent by email the day before the workshop.

The cost of the workshop is $20, but I would like to offer a sliding scale. The scheduling service I use doesn’t have this as an option, so a code needs to be entered for either the $20 or $10 cost. Please choose the tier that is most comfortable for you.

***You must use the code when you book. Retroactive discounts can not be applied.***
