Anticipatory Grief Group

Listening to Grief has partnered with The Kenney to offer a monthly Anticipatory Grief Group.

Also called “pre-grief,” you may be experiencing anticipatory grief if you are expecting a loss that has not yet happened, such as one due to a terminal illness, and are grieving in advance of the loss event.

Anticipatory grief is the grief we may feel before a loss occurs. It can arise when facing changes in health, independence, relationships, caregiving responsibilities, or the uncertainty that often accompanies life’s transitions.
