Grief is Crafty—August

  • The Missing Piece 4707 California Avenue Southwest Seattle, Washington, 98116 United States (map)
Grief is a crafty little motherfucker.
— Harrison Ford's character Paul in "Shrinking"

You are invited to a monthly craft circle as your whole, messy, grieving self. This is a chance to be with others who are also grievers and creators. Maybe you haven’t picked up your WIP (work in progress) since your loved one died. Maybe you’ve wanted to try your hand at sketching, but didn’t have the energy. Or maybe you just love to create but don’t have anyone to craft with because no one really understands what you’re going through.

Bring your own project or try your hand at something new. Each month I will provide materials and instruction for a simple project.

We will start each circle with introductions. Once we’re crafting, conversation tends to naturally flow, since we all have grief in common.

In order to cover the space rental and the materials, there are two fee options:

$10 Bring your own project.

$25 Base cost, plus $15 for supplies.
